Acne Remedies - Have
Clearer Skin
Acne is one of the biggest problems that people have
with self esteem and their appearance. It is highly noticeable
and because of its location it is not something that is easily
covered up. As a result there have been a number of acne
remedies created. While many of these remedies work for the
majority there are some people who can not use over the counter
methods because the results leave red and peeling or painful
skin.
Prescription methods are usually harsher than over the
counter methods leaving a number of people wondering what they
can use for acne remedies. The first thing to do is try the
mildest things on the market and see if you can build a
tolerance to them. Sometimes the side effects go away after a
time of using it because your skin becomes used to the
product.
The other option is to consider home remedies. These may not
show results as quickly as some of the other remedies but they
are usually much easier on the skin. If you have really severe
symptoms of acne it is a good idea to speak to your primary
care or dermatologist in order to find out what options are
available for you.
Type of Acne
Remedies
The mildest form of acne treatments available are
homemade remedies. These are usually made of all natural
ingredients that can easily be obtained in health food stores,
craft stores or online. If you are looking to just purchase
these types of home remedies there are a number of online shops
that sell them pre made for reasonable prices.
The next step up on acne remedies is the over the counter
treatments, there are a wide variety of these so it may take
some time to find something that works for you. Luckily, thanks
to the wide variety of products in the various categories it is
easy to mix and match to find a combination that works for
you.
The next level is the mail order solutions that are usually
developed by doctors but are not prescription products. These
sit between the prescriptions that you get from the doctors and
the remedies that you get from the store. They usually work but
can be significantly more expensive.
Finally, there are the prescription grade acne
remedies. These usually have a number of side effects and
are primarily used for the treatment of severe acne or acne
which does not seem to respond to any other form of
treatment.
